Packages
LEI works hard to insure that our network based IDS/IPS is one of the
most current and accurate network security solutions available on the
market. Our IDS solution includes
all the extra services like, vulnerability assessments, penetration
testing, consulting, technical support, and service. When you use us as
your monitoring provider, our staff of network security professionals
become an extension of your existing IT staff.
Look at what is included in our packages:
1)
One
day initial network security consultation.
The initial
consultation is used to cover the network design, implementation strategy
of the intrusion prevention and detection system, location of agents and
to choose the correct software and hardware based on your network design.

Customized security response plan.
The LEI security
team will work with your management team to develop a custom response
plan. In the event of network security events, your management can dictate
what response you will receive from our team based on certain categories
of events. You may wish to receive e-mail notification of some events,
phone calls for other events, or an on-site visit for more serious events.

Installation and configuration of the monitoring system.
LEI’s security team will come to your site and install and configure all
hardware and software required to start the IDS/IPS process. LEI will test
all components to ensure that they are working properly and will provide
your technical staff an overview of any maintenance that will be required.

24
hour, 7 days a week, intrusion prevention and detection.
LEI’s staff will monitor your network, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and
will notify you of any security events based on your monitoring package
and custom response plan. Our expert’s will be guarding your network,
making determinations as to the type and location of any security event
and controlling the initial response to any events.
5)
Penetration testing (Risk Assessment).
Based on the
package you choose, regular testing of your network for security
vulnerabilities will be preformed to make sure your network is secure as
possible. An IDS/IPS system is the best way to be informed of all network
security related activity and counter that activity, however, regular
penetration testing (risk assessments) is used to make sure your defenses
are as strong as possible and that you are at the least risk of a security
breech occurring.
6)
Reports and event details.
Based on the package you
choose, LEI will provide your management with reports of security related
network activity. The reports will include an overview of the network
events and a summary of the types and quantities of attacks.
7)
Technical support.
We understand that security is an
every changing industry and that you may have questions or concerns about
different security issues, hardware, software, or patches. Based on your
package, LEI will provide e-mail and/or phone based technical support to
help answer network security related issues. We will NOT leave you alone
after your system is up and running.
8)
Regulatory and
industry requirements.
LEI will make every effort to
make sure your network security meets or exceeds any regulatory agency
such as NCUA, FDIC, HIPAA or PCI. Just provide LEI with a copy of your
agencies regulations, and during the initial consultation, LEI will make
recommendations to insure that your network meets the requirements. We can
also provide those agencies with information about your added security
measures at your request to help in the event of an audit or review
process.
